Tarheel Cutlery Club

The Tar Heel Cutlery Club is the oldest continuously operating knife club in America. Established in 1975, we are a nonprofit organization built for and by knife collectors. Our stated purpose is to encourage participation in knife collecting. We enjoy having visitors at our meetings and invite all ages to come and see what knife collecting is all about!

We have meetings once a month and several other events throughout the year. Our casual meetings and social activities are filled with informative topics and demonstrations. In an effort to learn more about our hobby of knife collecting, there are educational programs at every meeting. You will be able to participate and gain extensive knowledge in the following areas: knife care, determining the value of collectible knives, knife swaps, new knife releases from the top manufacturers, proper storage techniques to preserve the value of your knives, and much more. Refreshments are served.

Knife auctions and knife raffles are conducted at monthly meetings. You can offer knives in the auction. There are no commissions charged and no buyer fees charged.

The Tar Heel Cutlery Club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Miller Park Recreation Center at 400 Leisure Lane, Winston Salem, NC. Take Knollwood Exit off Bus.I-40 & cross Stratford Rd. Swap Meet begins at 6:30pm followed by the official meeting at 7:00pm.
